ALADDIN (M) - a principled boy in love with Princess Martini
WIDOW TWANKEY (M) - an eccentric dame, Aladdin's mother
WISHY-WASHY (M) - Aladdin's brother
ABANAZA (M) - an evil wizard
WON TUN (F) - Abanaza's henchwoman
THE GREAT POWERFUL GENIE OF THE LAMP (M OR F) - a genie
THE GENIE OF THE RING (M OR F) - not so great and powerful, but more fun
PRINCESS MARTINI (F) - beautiful, vain, daughter of the Emperor
TING MING (F) - Lady in Waiting
EMPEROR (M) - Mighty Ruler of the Chinese People
EMPRESS (F) - The RULER of the Ruler of the Chinese People
SERGEANT PRESTON (M or F) - of the YUKON RCMP
MAJOR DOMO (M) - cheerleader to the Royal family
CHORUS, including: a six legged dragon; zany dancing skeletons; Marquis of Polo; A Sheikh; street traders /courtiers, etc.
To Audition...
Please attend the Friday session in order to meet the Director and the Aladdin Team, complete audition forms, participate in a group song, and have some fun!
Friday, Sept. 10
6:30 p.m. - doors open – Everyone welcome
7:00 - 9:00 p.m. - Information, group song and dance steps taught, and you will be given an individual call time for Sat. to audition..
Sat. Sept. 11
10:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. - auditions for acting and voice. You are encouraged to bring your own sheet music if so desired, ie. Character songs from musicals.
Sun. Sept. 12
6:00 p.m. - call backs
