{"id":30,"date":"2019-05-14T14:07:59","date_gmt":"2019-05-14T14:07:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.courtenaylittletheatre.com\/?page_id=30"},"modified":"2025-03-28T20:39:30","modified_gmt":"2025-03-28T20:39:30","slug":"clt-policies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.courtenaylittletheatre.com\/index.php\/clt-policies\/","title":{"rendered":"CLT POLICIES"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Courtenay Little Theatre Society (CLT) operates as a non-profit charitable organization that is committed to providing a respectful, ethical, and safe environment in all locations where work is being conducted or performed.<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.courtenaylittletheatre.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/CLT-RWP-Final-Review-March-2025.pdf\">CLT &#8211; RWP &#8211; Final &#8211; Review March 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.courtenaylittletheatre.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Canadian-Code-of-Conduct-for-the-Performing-Arts.pdf\">Canadian Code of Conduct for the Performing Arts<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Accordingly, all members of CLT are required to adhere to the following code of conduct at all times when participating in CLT events, meetings, and activities.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be respectful towards others.<\/li>\n<li>Treat property and facilities belonging to and\/or used by CLT with care.<\/li>\n<li>Attend to CLT duties on time as scheduled, and make every effort to notify the person in charge when unable to meet a scheduled commitment.<\/li>\n<li>Exercise prudent precautions when conducting CLT activities to preserve personal safety and the safety of others.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid exhibiting behaviour which could be reasonably construed as discrimination or harassment, and do not engage in activities which are illegal, improper, or in conflict with CLT\u2019s interests.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain privacy and confidentiality of any personal or CLT information acquired through participation in CLT activities.<\/li>\n<li>Refrain from use of CLT assets and\/or information for personal benefit or for the benefit of other persons or entities.<\/li>\n<li>Respect all relevant environmental and legal regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Report to the CLT board any observed or suspected violations of the code of conduct by another member.<\/li>\n<li>Comply with the CLT policies on Drug and Alcohol Use and Respectful Safe Work Space. CLT has a zero tolerance policy prohibiting the use of drugs and alcohol during rehearsals and performances.<\/li>\n<li>Refrain at all times, while participating in CLT functions, from the following:\n<ul>\n<li>harassing, disruptive or threatening behaviour,<\/li>\n<li>physical violence towards another member or member of the public,<\/li>\n<li>intoxication,<\/li>\n<li>theft,<\/li>\n<li>disclosure of private and\/or confidential information (verbal or written) without permission, and<\/li>\n<li>any behaviour that may pose a risk to the safety and reputation of CLT, and\/or its members, contractors, volunteers and patrons.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong>January 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Courtenay Little Theatre Society (CLT) operates as a non-profit charitable organization that is committed to providing a respectful, ethical, and safe environment in all locations where work is being conducted or performed.
