Out of concern for the evolving global health emergency with the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, Courtenay Little Theatre has decided to postpone our upcoming production of Doubt, A Parable. We are cancelling our April dates effective immediately.<\/p>\n
For anyone who has purchased a ticket for our play, you will soon receive an email from the Sid Williams Theatre Box Office offering you the following options:<\/p>\n
1. You may request a full refund by calling the box office at 250-338-2430 ext. 1 starting tomorrow, Tuesday March 17th. Please be patient while the Sid Williams Theatre staff work through their workload during this very challenging time.<\/p>\n
2. You may choose to donate the amount that you paid for your tickets. Your donation would be made to the Sid Williams Theatre, and will help to alleviate the ongoing financial implications of these cancellations. You will be helping to support the arts in our community and provide much needed funds for our theatre. Sid Williams Theatre would issue you a tax receipt for your donation.<\/p>\n
We appreciate all of the incredible work done by our director Kymme Patrick and her fabulous cast. We admire the dedicated work of our talented production team; they really are a \u201cDream Team\u201d. At the moment, our upcoming North Island Zone Festival in May has not been cancelled. We will update everyone as more information come available. This are hoping that this journey is not over\u2026 we hope to share this compelling play with all of you in the future.<\/p>\n

This Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play is an eloquent, provocative investigation of elusive truth and terrible consequence, compelling and thought-provoking theatre.<\/p>\n
Set in a Bronx Catholic school in 1964, this powerful drama examines the perils of moral certainty. Conservative Sister Aloysius suspects modern-minded and charismatic Father Flynn of inappropriate behaviour in the school. Once suspicion takes hold, can there be any room for doubt?<\/p>\n
