COURTENAY LITTLE THEATRE
AUDITIONS!
Courtenay Little Theatre is very excited to announce Elf The Musical, by Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin, Music by Matthew Sklar and Lyrics by Chad Bequelin will be our second production of our 2026-2027 season.
Elf is the perfect feel-good musical to bring in the holiday spirit.

We are excited to start the fun with our Christmas production. Our design teams are busy preparing for our show! If you would like to help out let us know.
We will holding auditions over two weekends in September.
Friday September 11 – individual auditions
Saturday September 12- individual auditions
Saturday September 18 – individual auditions
Sunday September19 – call backs
We have had a lot of interest from people who would like to audition. A day/ time has been assigned for you. We may need to adjust these times and will let you know if we do.
Prepare a portion of a monologue and a song of your choice that is up to 2 minutes long. We will send you an audition form in a few weeks to fill out and bring it to your audition.
Auditons will be held at the Courtenay Little Theatre Studio at the Views, 2137 Comox Avenue in Comox. In the old St Joseph’s Hospital. Use the parking lot by the Auxiliary Thrift Shop and enter through the main doors. Wait in the hall until someone greets you and invites you in.
Important dates:
Cast will be announced by October 1st.
Rehearsals will generally be small group rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and full cast on Sundays from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.

Meet and Greet and full cast read through on Sunday October 18 at 12:00pm.
Move into the theatre on Thursday December 17th.
Technical and Dress Rehearsals from December 18, 19 and 20th.
10 shows between December 21-31 at the Sid Williams Theatre.
