Courtenay Little Theatre has provided quality live entertainment in the Comox Valley since 1960. Every activity is 100% volunteer driven by people who participate simply for the love of theatre.
We are expanding community theatre in the Comox Valley, our new space, The Studio, opens the door to intimate productions, local work, workshops, festivals and more ways to participate.
Our programs include:
- Three Mainstage productions at the Sid Williams Theatre each year;
- NEW! Many smaller productions, workshops and more at CLT’s The Studio in the lobby of the old St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox;
- Theatre Festivals;
- NEW! Reminiscence Theatre in association with Providence Living seniors care village;
- NEW! Our new play initiative, “Tales From the Comox Valley”;
- A variety of other musical and non-musical events.

Buy tickets
Come out and support our shows at the Sid Williams Theatre in downtown Courtenay and CLT’s The Studio in Comox. Every ticket sold puts us one step closer to building our next show.
Membership and Volunteering
If you would enjoy participating in any of our activities, consider becoming a member and discover the joy of live theatre. There are many ways to be active in the club, such as producing, acting, directing, stage managing, lighting and sound operators, designing and building props, costumes, sets, makeup artists graphic artists, volunteering for Front-of-House (ushers, concession personnel, ticket takers), and being a member of a commitee. Billeting
We are now hosting guest productions for performance at our new CLT’s The Studio, located in Comox at the old St Joseph’s Hospital lobby. We may need overnight accommodation from time to time for the guest cast and crew. Would you have short term room to host an artist or two?

Sponsorship
Put your name and your company’s name front and centre with Courtenay Little Theatre. Sponsor our season, a production, North Island Zone Festival, CLT’s One Act Festival, Tales From Comox Valley new play initiative, and/or our Building Fund.

Become a Patron of CLT and have your name (with your permission) listed in our programs. Charitable Tax Receipts will be issued for all donations of $25 or more.

Consider setting up a monthly donation through your bank account directly to CLT’s account or through Canada Helps (link at the bottom of each CLT web page.
Legacy Giving
Consider supporting CLT in your will with a financial donation or donation of property. We are currently looking for a permanent home in the Comox Valley to cement our future in the community.
Building Fund
The ultimate goal of our current Strategic Plan is to purchase a property for a permanent home in the Comox Valley for Courtenay Little Theatre. Our tenure at The Studio in Comox is temporary until Providence Living needs to tear down the old hospital building to make way for the continued expansion of the Seniors Care Village. To continue our activities and support other non-profit arts groups, as we do now. Supporting our activities at The Studio will help us grow our Building Fund.
