Play Club News

Play Club (our play reading group for CLT members) had an exciting inaugural season with readings of Love, Love, Love; And Up They Flew; POTUS, Or Behind Every Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive; The Catering Queen; The Myth of the Ostrich and two one-act plays, The Dirty Old Man and Finding Clare.

In addition to being a place where plays can be read just for the fun of it, Play Club has evolved to be a venue for directors to present and receive feedback from scripts they are proposing for potential CLT shows. To that end, PC attendees now participate in verbal and written feedback after each reading, which Selection Committee members will take into consideration as they recommend plays to the CLT board for production.

Contact Catherine Hannon and/or Erin Malin if you are interested in having a play read aloud. We are accepting suggestions for fall and winter PC readings and compiling a roster of CLT members interested in being readers. Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to attend!
